Trevor Carl Nelson | President & Founder
At Campus + Main Trevor is responsible for all acquisition opportunities, corporate management, design supervision, overseeing the team of analysts and setting corporate strategy.
Prior to Campus + Main, Trevor co-founded Pegasus Investments in 2011, a commercial real estate advisory firm that provides investment sales, capital markets and asset management services to clients on high quality investment properties throughout the country. While building Pegasus, Trevor grew the firm to 18 professionals, closing $400mm of transactions annually and built its reputation as the premier net-leased retail brokerage in the country.
Prior to starting Pegasus, Trevor was Director of Acquisitions for Conquest Housing, the largest owner and developer of luxury student housing properties at the University of Southern California and University of California at Santa Barbara. At the peak of the market Conquest systematically sold its student housing assets, capitalizing on market timing and the value of the student properties they had built. At Conquest, Trevor was the sole executive responsible for all acquisition opportunities and expansion strategy for the $300 million portfolio.
Trevor graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a degree in Business Administration. He first learned the value of real estate investing while at school by purchasing a condominium which he personally renovated. After renting out the spare bedroom for enough to cover all ownership expenses, he eventually sold the property at enough of a profit to cover the cost of school – learning early on the value of real estate near campuses. He now lives in a Los Angeles beach community with his wife and two children.
